Court Issues Notices to Nirav Modi's Brothers in PNB Scam FEO Proceedings

A special court in Mumbai has issued notices to Nirav Modi's brothers, Neeshal and Nehal Modi, asking them to explain why they should not be declared fugitive economic offenders (FEO) in the Punjab National Bank scam. The Enforcement Directorate alleges their involvement in money laundering through fake companies and overseas transactions. Senior executives Aditya Nanavati and Sandeep Mistry have also received similar notices. Nirav Modi was declared an FEO in 2019, while proceedings against Mehul Choksi continue amid ongoing extradition cases.
