Pathankot police registered a record 444 FIRs and arrested 751 individuals in an intensive anti-drug drive over the past year. The force also seized significant quantities of heroin, poppy husk, opium, and drug money, alongside 29 arrests under the Arms Act. Additionally, 116 cases were registered and 136 people arrested for illicit liquor manufacturing, primarily in rural areas. The police emphasized their commitment to citizen safety and continued enforcement against crime.
