Georgia Teacher Dies After Being Accidentally Run Over During Late-Night Prank

In Gainesville, Georgia, a 40-year-old high school math teacher, Jason Hughes, died after being accidentally run over by a pickup truck driven by 18-year-old Jayden Wallace during a late-night prank. Hughes confronted a group of teenagers outside his home around 11:40 pm, tripped, and fell as Wallace drove away. Wallace and two others stopped to assist before emergency responders arrived. Wallace faces multiple charges, while four other teens were also arrested on misdemeanor charges. Hughes is survived by his wife and two children.
