Delhi Police's Crime Branch, in coordination with NCERT officials, busted a major racket involved in printing and distributing counterfeit NCERT textbooks across multiple states. Raids in Delhi and Ghaziabad led to the seizure of nearly 45,000 fake books, printing machinery, and materials worth around Rs 2 crore. Three individuals were arrested, with investigations ongoing to dismantle the network. NCERT emphasized that unauthorized printing violates copyright laws and harms education quality, urging purchases only from authorized sellers.
