The body of 36-year-old Vijay Shukla was discovered in a pit near Darawn village in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday night. Shukla had reportedly gone to attend a New Year party. His family, who had been searching for him, informed the police after registering a missing person's report. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
