
Navi Mumbai police destroyed narcotics worth Rs 18.63 crore seized in 55 cases during a drug disposal event at the Mumbai Waste Management Company facility in Taloja. The seizures include hydroponic ganja, heroin, opium, mephedrone, and codeine. Recent arrests include three individuals near Vashi railway station and 33 persons linked to a Punjab-based gang involved in drug trafficking. Anti Narcotics Squads have been established across police stations to enhance enforcement and intelligence efforts.
