British rapper Ghetts, born Justin Clarke-Samuel, was sentenced to 12 years in prison at London's Old Bailey for causing the death of 20-year-old Nepali student Yubin Tamang in a hit-and-run. Clarke-Samuel admitted to dangerous driving, including driving at speeds over twice the 30mph limit and being over the legal alcohol limit. CCTV footage showed the BMW M5 striking Tamang, who died two days later from catastrophic injuries. Clarke-Samuel failed to stop or call emergency services after the collision.
