Extradition Process Underway for Accused in Tripura Student Anjel Chakma's Death

Anjel Chakma, a 24-year-old MBA student from Tripura, died on December 26 after a racially motivated attack in Dehradun. The main accused, Yagyaraj Awasthi, fled to Nepal, prompting Dehradun Police to initiate extradition proceedings. Five others have been arrested, with two underage sent to a correctional home. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has met Anjel's family, assured support, and is coordinating with Uttarakhand authorities to ensure justice and expedite the investigation.
