A man has been arrested in Jharkhand for allegedly tying a seven-year-old boy to a tree and assaulting him on suspicion of theft. The incident, which occurred on January 9 in Diesel Colony, was captured on video. Police registered an FIR under the POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita based on a complaint by the victim's brother. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend two other individuals reportedly involved in the assault.
