Man Arrested for Allegedly Staying at Gurugram Hotel Without Paying Rs 6 Lakh Bill

A 26-year-old man named Himanshu from Sohna allegedly stayed at a Gurugram hotel for five months without paying a bill of over Rs 6.17 lakh. He reportedly sent 16 fake payment screenshots via WhatsApp to the hotel operator, who later found no actual payments credited. After the operator filed a complaint, police arrested Himanshu, who admitted to using a fake PhonePe app to generate fraudulent payment proofs. Investigations and legal proceedings are ongoing.
