Class 12 Student Attacked with Machete After HSC Exam in Pune; Suspected Old Rivalry

A 17-year-old Class 12 student, Shankar Mirgane, was attacked with a machete outside Mamasaheb Mohol College in Pune's Kothrud area after completing his HSC exam. The assault involved three minors linked to a dispute from two to three years ago over a girl when they studied together in Class 10. One suspect has been detained, and police are searching for the others. Mirgane sustained a non-grievous head injury and is out of danger. Investigation is ongoing.
