Delhi Police uncovered a Patna-based factory linked to an interstate drug cartel producing fake psychotropic medicines resembling popular brands. The raid led to the seizure of thousands of counterfeit syrup bottles, chemicals, and manufacturing equipment. Eight arrests have been made, including key accused Tanishq Jha, who allegedly sourced raw materials and processed the drugs for distribution across multiple states. The investigation began in September after seizures of powdered Tramadol in Delhi, with recovered substances valued over Rs 50 crore.
