Shimla Police Arrest Ferozepur Man in Interstate Heroin Trafficking Network

Shimla police, with Punjab Police assistance, arrested Hardeep Singh, a Ferozepur-based alleged kingpin of an interstate heroin trafficking network. The operation began after two Punjab residents were caught with 83 grams of heroin in Rohru. Investigations revealed a supply chain involving local peddlers and suppliers, coordinated via a WhatsApp virtual number. Bank records showed transactions worth Rs 28 lakh over seven months linked to the network. Seven individuals have been arrested, and further investigations continue.
