Two 18-year-old first-year engineering students, M. Mohamed and S. Mohamed Ibrahim, died in a road accident near Tirumayam on Monday. They were returning from college on a motorcycle when it collided with a tipper lorry that was taking a turn. Both students, residents of Puduvayal, were pronounced dead at the scene. Tirumayam police are investigating the incident.
