Police in Andhra Pradesh have arrested eight individuals, including a Bengaluru-based software engineer identified as Gade Renuka, for allegedly operating a cross-border cannabis trafficking network. The group is accused of sourcing high-quality cannabis from the Andhra-Odisha border and supplying it to Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. Renuka, reportedly known as the "lady don" due to her network control, allegedly used rented houses in Bengaluru and Coimbatore for operations. Authorities seized 74 kg of cannabis, vehicles, and mobile phones during the arrests.
