Bareilly police arrested a hotel manager and two others for allegedly assaulting officers during a New Year's Eve raid. The incident occurred when police responded to complaints about loud music and continued alcohol service past the stipulated time at Sobti Continental Hotel. According to police, hotel staff, some reportedly drunk, abused and attacked the officers. The arrested individuals face charges including attempted murder and assault.
