Two Arrested for Trapping Protected Green Pigeons in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh

In Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, two individuals were arrested for allegedly trapping protected green pigeons near Alwara Lake. Police recovered 14 live birds and a plastic net from them. The accused admitted to capturing and selling these birds. Legal cases were filed under the Wildlife Protection Act and related laws. The rescued pigeons were released back into the wild by authorities following legal procedures.
