Indore police conducted a special late-night checking drive on New Year's Eve, targeting criminals and illegal activities. The operation involved scanning 950 suspects, with legal action taken against 377 individuals. Police executed 126 warrants, booked 163 drivers for drunk driving, registered 7 NDPS Act cases, and filed 18 cases for public drinking. Preventive action was taken against 73 habitual offenders, and drone patrolling was utilized for surveillance. Similar operations are planned to continue regularly.
