Meghalaya Police Seize Rs 51 Crore Worth of Heroin and Meth, Two Arrested

Meghalaya's Anti-Narcotics Task Force seized suspected heroin and methamphetamine worth approximately Rs 51.13 crore during a coordinated vehicle check in East Jaintia Hills district. Two Mizoram-based individuals were arrested from a vehicle carrying 203.7 grams of heroin and 10.145 kilograms of crystal meth. Authorities suspect the accused are linked to a larger interstate and cross-border drug trafficking network. An investigation is ongoing under the NDPS Act to trace further connections.
