Punjab Police Seize Heroin via Drone and Arrest Multiple Suspects in Cross-Border Smuggling Cases

Punjab police, aided by the state's anti-drone system 'Baaz Akh' and the Border Security Force, intercepted a Pakistani drone carrying approximately 3.9 kg of heroin near Tarn Taran. The DJI Matrice drone was recovered, highlighting cross-border smuggling using advanced technology. Separately, multiple arrests were made in Amritsar and Ludhiana districts, with over 12 kg of heroin seized across several operations linked to Pakistan-based smugglers. Investigations continue to dismantle the networks and trace supply routes.
