Kaithal Police Take Action Over NDPS Act Violations and Indiscipline in Anti-Drug Team

In Kaithal, Haryana, nine members of the Nasha Mukti Jagrukta anti-drug team were sent to Police Lines for alleged violations of the NDPS Act during a February 16 raid. Head constable Sunil Sandhu was dismissed for indiscipline, misconduct, and procedural lapses, including unauthorized social media use. An inquiry led by DSP Gurvinder Singh is ongoing. Sandhu accused a DSP of threatening to implicate him falsely, prompting a separate investigation into his claims.
