A New Year's celebration at Antarvedi Beach in Andhra Pradesh's Ambedkar Konaseema district ended tragically when an SUV carrying pharmaceutical sector employees from Bengaluru plunged into the sea. The driver, Sridhar, drowned after losing control of the vehicle near the Godavari river's meeting point with the sea. Another occupant, Gopi, escaped. The submerged vehicle was recovered, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
