Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Debbarma announced a Rs 10 lakh reward for information leading to the arrest of the main accused in the Anjel Chakma murder case, significantly exceeding the Uttarakhand Police's Rs 25,000 reward. Chakma, an MBA student, was attacked after objecting to a racial slur in Dehradun and died on December 26. While five of six accused are arrested, the mastermind remains at large. The TTAADC also offered Rs 3 lakh compensation to Chakma's family.
