A truck driver was killed and three others injured in a collision between a BEST bus and a truck in Mumbai's Aarey Colony on Thursday morning. Officials stated the accident occurred around 6:20 am near Gate 5, with reports suggesting the bus may have lost control on a slippery, rain-soaked road and collided with the oncoming truck. The truck driver, identified as 30-year-old Keraji P Thakur, was declared dead at the hospital. The BEST bus driver and conductor also sustained injuries.
