CoBRA Assistant Commandant Injured in IED Blast During Jharkhand Anti-Maoist Operation

An assistant commandant of CoBRA, a special unit of the CRPF, was injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast during an anti-Maoist operation in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district on Sunday. The explosion occurred in Saranda forest, where the IED was reportedly planted by the proscribed CPI (Maoists). The injured officer was airlifted to a hospital in Ranchi, and security forces launched a search operation in the area following the incident.
