Delhi Court Extends NIA Custody of Five Accused in Red Fort Blast Case

A Delhi court extended the National Investigation Agency's custody of five accused in the Red Fort blast case, including doctors Dr. Shaheen Saeed, Dr. Adeel Rather, Dr. Muzammil Ganie, Maulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay, and Jasir Bilal Wani, until January 16, 2026. The NIA seeks to interrogate them to decode 'code words' and analyze incriminating digital evidence to uncover a larger conspiracy linked to the November 10 blast that killed 15 people. Nine accused have been arrested, with investigations spanning Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi-NCR.
