The death toll from a road accident in Chitradurga district has risen to seven following the demise of the sleeper bus driver, who was critically injured. The accident occurred when a container truck collided with the bus, hitting its fuel tank and causing a fire. Five passengers and the truck driver died at the scene on Thursday, with the bus driver succumbing to his injuries on Friday.
