A Delhi court has convicted priest Lakhan Dubey and his wife Kamlesh for the 2017 murder of Chander Shekhar. The prosecution stated Kamlesh lured Shekhar to the temple room, where she and Dubey allegedly drugged and strangled him. The couple then reportedly attempted to destroy the body by burning it inside the temple. The court found the evidence conclusive, excluding other hypotheses and establishing the guilt of the accused.
