A Pune-based software engineer is facing a cyber fraud investigation in Bengaluru after his Aadhaar details were allegedly misused to open six mule bank accounts. The victim shared his Aadhaar for pilgrimage bookings on a fraudulent website, leading to identity theft. These accounts were reportedly used to receive funds in various cyber fraud cases. An FIR has been registered in Pune, and the investigation is ongoing.
