
Security forces along the India-Myanmar border have conducted coordinated anti-narcotics operations resulting in multiple arrests and significant drug seizures. In Manipur's Tengnoupal district, police and central forces seized methamphetamine and brown sugar worth over Rs 4.1 crore and arrested one individual. Separately, in Mizoram, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested four people, including a Myanmarese national, confiscating methamphetamine and heroin valued at Rs 31 crore. Investigations into cross-border trafficking networks are ongoing.
