
Three migrant construction workers from West Bengal died in Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu, after sand mounds and parts of a retaining wall collapsed on them during excavation at a residential site. Rescue teams retrieved the trapped workers, who were declared dead at a government hospital. The deceased, aged 22 to 36, were identified as Abdul Rahman, Naseer, and Usman. Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
