Delhi Domestic Help and Associates Arrested for Fake ED Raid and Robbery

In Delhi's New Friends Colony, a domestic help, Rekha Devi, and her sister-in-law allegedly staged a fake Enforcement Directorate raid at the home of 86-year-old retired architect RC Sabharwal on February 11. Three men, including a serving ITBP constable and a retired Army personnel, impersonated officials, intimidating the family and stealing cash, luxury watches, and jewellery worth several lakhs. Police investigation, aided by extensive CCTV and technical surveillance, led to the arrest of the two women, while three male suspects remain at large. Authorities recovered uniforms, fake IDs, and a pistol during searches, and the probe continues to identify further involvement.
