In Delhi's New Friends Colony, a domestic help and her sister-in-law were arrested for orchestrating a fake Enforcement Directorate raid at the home of 86-year-old retired architect RC Sabharwal on February 11. Three accomplices, including a serving ITBP personnel and a retired Army man, remain at large. The suspects, dressed as officials, intimidated the family, seized mobile phones, and fled with cash, luxury watches, and jewellery. Police investigations involved extensive CCTV analysis and technical surveillance, leading to the recovery of stolen items and fake official gear. The probe continues to identify other possible conspirators.
