In Bengaluru's Indiranagar, a 42-year-old man, identified as Derrick Tony, allegedly drove a speeding car under the influence of alcohol, jumped a road divider, and crashed into the wall of the Barbeque Nation restaurant late Thursday night. CCTV footage captured the car narrowly missing pedestrians and hitting a two-wheeler before impacting the restaurant. While no fatalities were reported, a motorcyclist sustained minor injuries. Police have registered a case against the driver for rash and negligent driving and drunk driving, and his vehicle has been seized.
