A birthday party at a Bareilly cafe was disrupted by a group of 25-30 men, identified as Bajrang Dal members, who allegedly questioned attendees about their religious identities. The men reportedly separated Hindu and Muslim students, with two Muslim students allegedly being assaulted and accused of 'Love Jihad.' Videos show students being slapped and pushed. The nursing students' batchmate Shivangi was also reportedly abused and prevented from making calls. Police arrived, detaining the cafe owner and two Muslim men, who were later granted bail. An FIR was registered based on the cafe owner's complaint, but not Shivangi's.
