Thane police arrested a 21-year-old man from Punjab for allegedly creating over 100 fake social media profiles of a Thane-based influencer. The accused, Golu Jairam, posted morphed nude images of the influencer, who has over 1.7 million followers. He used various IP addresses and Wi-Fi connections to evade detection. The influencer reported the harassment after receiving vulgar comments and morphed images, leading to the case registered under IT and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections.
