The Delhi High Court is set to rule on expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar's plea seeking suspension of his 10-year sentence in the custodial death case of the Unnao rape survivor's father. Sengar was convicted in March 2020 for culpable homicide not amounting to murder related to the father's death in custody following police brutality. Appeals in both the custodial death and the main rape case, where Sengar received a life sentence, remain pending. The court's verdict is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
