Coimbatore Mahila Court Sentences Three to Life for 2025 Gang Rape Case

The Mahila Court in Coimbatore sentenced three men—T. Karuppasamy, his brother T. Kaleeswaran, and their relative M. Guna—to life imprisonment on March 7, 2026, for the gang rape of a 20-year-old college student near Coimbatore International Airport on November 2-3, 2025. The court found them guilty under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, ordering compensation of ₹7 lakh to the survivor and ₹2 lakh to her boyfriend, who was also assaulted during the incident.
