Andhra Pradesh Police Officers Receive Awards for Crime Detection and Apprehension

Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta presented awards to police personnel for notable achievements. Three constables received the DG's Disc Awards for courageously apprehending an armed suspect during Operation Vajra Prahar in Vijayawada. Additionally, the Award for Best in Crime Detection (ABCD) was given to police units including Prakasam district police, Government Railway Police Guntakal, and the CID Cybercrime Wing for solving key cases using technology. Senior officials attended the ceremonies at the state police headquarters.
