Ghaziabad police have arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly murdering his 22-year-old neighbor and friend, Amarpal Singh, by strangulation. The incident occurred on December 29 after a prior altercation where the deceased reportedly insulted and beat the accused. The accused lured Singh to a field and strangled him with electrical wires. Singh's family had filed a murder FIR against unidentified persons after finding his body.
