Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, co-owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, have been placed in judicial custody until January 9 by a Mapusa court. The detention is in connection with a fatal fire on December 6 that killed 25 people. Their lawyer stated that police interrogation has concluded and the brothers have been cooperative. The court also allowed their request for prescribed medication. Another co-owner, Ajay Gupta, is also in custody. The investigation involves allegations of negligence and potential document falsification.
