A 30-year-old man, Santosh Patel, was fatally shot in Kota village, Chhatarpur, over a land dispute. Patel's family claims the dispute arose after he purchased land worth Rs 14 lakh. The family protested at the district hospital, demanding action. Police have announced a reward for the arrest of the accused, identified as Randhir Singh Parmar and associates, who allegedly arrived armed and fired the fatal shot. Several suspects are in custody for questioning.
