Students at Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNC) in Pasighat are reportedly surviving on two meals a day, with breakfast and lunch being the only provided meals in both boys' and girls' hostels. This practice, described as an ingrained culture, has persisted for decades, forcing students to rely on electric coil stoves and instant noodles for dinner. Despite modern facilities, mess management has seen no improvement, leaving students to manage with limited food options. Some students have resorted to saving lunch for dinner, while others recall similar conditions from past decades.
