SASTRA University will host the Thiruppavai-Thiruvempavai Recitation Competition on January 11, 2026, at its Kumbakonam campuses. Schools within a 15-km radius can nominate two students per category (Junior and Senior). Winners will receive cash prizes, and their schools will be awarded books for their libraries equivalent to the prize money. Registration closes on January 5, 2026. A minimum of 10 participants per category is required for the competition to proceed.
