
The Uttar Pradesh Board (UP Board) will implement a significant curriculum change starting the 2026-27 academic session, making vocational education compulsory for all Class 9 students. This initiative aims to modernize vocational courses and align them with industry needs, incorporating updated curricula from PSSCIVE, Bhopal. By 2030, Intermediate (Class 12) examinations will also be restructured, with students in most streams taking an additional vocational subject to enhance technical competency and employability.
