Oxford Student Highlights India's Skill-Based and Inclusive Education Model under NEP 2020

At the 61st United Nations Human Rights Council session, Jan Hubel, an Oxford master's student, praised India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for its focus on skill-based and inclusive education. He highlighted vocational training's role in fostering practical skills and entrepreneurship, especially for disadvantaged students. Hubel also emphasized NEP's commitment to inclusive education for students with disabilities, supported by assistive technologies and holistic school programs like those by the Akshar Foundation, promoting access, independence, and social participation.
