The Allahabad High Court has directed the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to revise the CLAT UG 2026 merit list after ruling that the Oversight Committee improperly overruled subject experts on a disputed logical reasoning question. The court ordered both options 'B' and 'D' be treated as correct for question 9, requiring a merit list revision. The Consortium has postponed the third UG allotment until further notice and plans to appeal the decision. Candidates admitted in earlier counselling rounds will not be affected, while future counselling will proceed based on the revised list.
