This workload, they claim, reduces their available time for teaching. The Maharashtra State Primary Teachers Association has requested policy decisions to alleviate this burden and threatened to boycott non-teaching online duties if no action is taken. This comes after the Education Minister sought to exempt teachers from election-related duties to focus on academics.
