
Four schoolgirls from rural Karnataka, including one from the tribal Jenu Kuruba community, co-authored a research paper published in the Scopus-indexed journal Sustainable Chemistry One World. Their study developed an environmentally friendly method to synthesize copper-based nanoparticles using plant extracts, demonstrating potential biomedical applications. The students participated in the Anveshana research program under expert guidance and highlighted access challenges faced by tribal learners despite their capabilities.
