Colleges were instructed to comply with UGC pay revisions, including an entry-level assistant professor salary of approximately ₹57,700 basic pay. However, compliance reports lack clear confirmation of implementation, with some institutions citing procedural matters or past judgments, leaving faculty in uncertainty regarding their remuneration.
